The 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of aamra networks limited (ANL) was held on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Delta Life Conference Hall, Gulshan, Dhaka. Chairman of the company Syed Faruque Ahmed presided over the meeting and welcomed the shareholders present at the AGM.
Syed Farhad Ahmed, Managing Director and the CEO of the Company presented the Audited Financial Statements for the year 2018 before the shareholders. “The ICT Sector in Bangladesh has seen significant growth in FY 2017-2018. aamra networks limited has focused extensively in diversifying its solutions portfolio this year. We have set our investment priorities on latest infrastructure and new skill development, with a clear vision to remain as one of the respected market leaders in IT, to ensure stable growth and profitability for our company and our valued shareholders” said Syed Farhad Ahmed to all the shareholders.
The Annual General Meeting re-elected Syed Faruque Ahmed & Fahmida Ahmed as the Chairman & Director of the company respectively as per company’s Articles of Association.
aamra networks limited (ANL) has declared 10% cash dividend for its shareholders for the fiscal year 2018.
Both the Chairman and the Managing Director thanked the valued shareholders, stakeholders, Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulatory authorities, for their cooperation and contribution rendered in conducting operation of the company. The Board also expresses appreciation for hard work, dedication and earnest effort of all its employees in achieving the success during the year 2018.
Company Directors Syeda Munia Ahmed and Fahmida Ahmed, Independent Director Mahbub Mustafizur Rahman, Group Chief Financial Officer Zahrul Syed Bakht, Company Secretary AKM Quamruzzaman, Chief Operating Officer Sharful Alam and Chief Financial Officer Md. Anamul Haque were also present in the meeting.
