aamra and JUST sign MoU to pursue ‘Corporate-Academia’ collaboration
aamra companies a local conglomerate with 18 SBUs and a strong focus on ICT and People Development has always firmly supported the youths of Bangladesh with its innovative approach and unique programs. As part of aamra’s CSR initiative titled, “Believe in Bangladesh” aamra has provided residential camping for 300 talented youths across 5 districts and trained them to thrive in a corporate environment.
To continue building on this tradition, aamra has signed an MoU with Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) that shall serve to bridge the ‘Corporate-Academia’ gap. The MoU was signed on behalf of JUST by Honorable Registrar Engineer Mohd. Ahsan Habib convoyed by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Anwar Hossain and Deans and Chairs from respective departments. Representing aamra companies at the event were Group Chief People Officer Ajeyo Rohitashwo ~ Al Quazi, who was accompanied by General Manager Khaled Ahamed Nur and Assistant General Manager Abdullah Al-Maruf.
Under this agreement aamra will directly assist the different departments of JUST to align their curriculum with the needs of the corporate world. In order to provide students with a hands-on learning experience, aamra will facilitate JUST students access to its office lab located at the nation’s first IT Park- Sheikh Hasina Software Technology Park. Additionally, students of JUST will receive priority for internship opportunities at the aamra companies office located in Jashore.
