The four-day event 17th Textech Bangladesh International Expo 2016 was held on August 31 to September 03, 2016 at International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB). Conference and Exhibition Management Services Limited (CEMS Global) organized the event for the exposition of textile and readymade garment sector in Bangladesh.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu inaugurated the ceremony as chief guest. The main purpose of the exhibition was to encourage the business community to play an important role in boosting the economy further by assembling worldwide technology, machinery and materials at the doorsteps of the manufacturers. There was wide display of textile and garments machineries, yarn machines, clothing machineries, dyes, fabrics and a collection of chemical substances.
Some 1,050 company from 23 countries participated in the exhibition. Exhibitors from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, USA & UK were present.
