Telekom Malaysia (TM) has renewed the Exclusive Partnership with Aamra Networks Limited. The agreement signing ceremony took place in the Head Quarter of TM in Kuala Lumpur. Baharul Nizam (GM Emerging Markets, TM Global) and Sharful Alam (COO, Aamra Networks) signed the contract. Sharful is confident to grow TM capacity in Bangladesh at least by four fold in one year, if not more. He mentioned that the price at the Bangladesh half is too high compared to that of progressive countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. For this, Bangladeshi Internet users are paying high price, IIGs are forced to route their traffic through ITCs/India compromising quality. He is confident that the concerned authority will realise this very soon and adjust the ‘Bangladesh half circuit’ price accordingly.
