aamra participated as the official Internet Partner of “The 20th Asian Archery Championship’2017”, the most prestigious archery competition of Asia. It is the fifth international tournament being organized by Bangladesh Archery Federation (BAF) for the first time in Bangladesh.
Country’s biggest ever archery event which is also a continental qualification tournament for the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic 2018, is being held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium from November 25, 2017. aamra is providing seamless internet connectivity throughout the event.
Syed Shahed Reza, Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association inaugurated the six-day event. Sanguan Kosavinta, Vice-president of World Archery Asia and Tournament Director, Sung Ho-Um, Secretary General of World Archery Asia, Mohammad Mainul Islam, BAF President and Chairman of the Organizing Committee and General Secretary of BAF Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal also spoke at the opening ceremony.
More than 250 archers from around 33 Asian countries are taking part at the six-day tournament.
Eight international judges, including Tanvir Ahmed of Bangladesh, and nine continental judges, are conducting the matches led by chief judge Hoong Mau Sui-Frankie of Singapore
