aamra provides IT support in the first “ICT National Women’s Hackathon”

aamra participated as the official IT partner in the first-ever “ICT National Hackathon for Women 2017”. ICT Division with the assistance of Women in Digital Bangladesh organized the program in the capital’s Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB).

State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak graced the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest. He said, “The government is working to create an ICT ecosystem for ensuring participation of women in all spheres of development”.

137 teams took part in two days long Women’s Hackathon and among them 27 teams were awarded. aamra provided seamless Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the event.

The Women’s Hackathon is designed to inspire young women to explore the unknown and open doors to opportunities in the tech sector and share their ideas and creativity on a national platform.
